Soar! - Brass Band
This work was written for the 2008 Royal Marines Band Service 'Soar' composing competition, and depicts the development of Naval Aviation over its one hundred year history. There are five contrasting movements, written in a variety of styles from the traditional to the very modern, with optional parts for Electric Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar and Keyboards/Piano. It is 8 minutes long and needs a formidable percussion section.
